Breville JE98XL Juice Fountain Plus 850-Watt Juicing Machine Review

I got this juicer about a year ago and i can honestly say i've gotten my moneys worth.

Pros:

easy to clean
easy to assemble
pretty good at extraction
fantastic customer service
replacement parts are easy to find and not expensive

Cons (sort of...more like...feedback from my juicing experience):

parts are not that dishwasher safe. When im feeling lazy, i put the top cover in the dishwasher. after doing that a few times, i've noticed that a crack developed and has gotten bigger. i ordered a replacement part and they sent the wrong one! when i called, they sent me a new one, free of charge, and let me keep the other part (which i would have order at some point anyway!) I will make a strong effort to not be lazy and wash it by hand.

the mesh screen will not last me much longer. i've already ordered another one for when the current one fails. i feel like it looks like its rusting? not sure but im not going to take any chances and use the new one i purchased.

produces a lot of froth. i love the froth seperator but i feel like i can get more juice. I find that i have to run the pulp through the juicer 2 times in order to get ALL of the juice out.

I have to blend softer fruits THEN run them through the juicer. if i want to juice spinach, blueberries, pineapple, strawberries, blackberries, raspberries, bananas, or kale, i have to blend them in the blender with some water and pour it into the juicer. it honestly only has seeds, skins, or fiber left over if i do it this way. otherwise i have a ton of pulp.

oxidizes the juice faster than a masticating juicer. its not a big deal, really, the juice looks like its a slightly different color. after readin about why, i learned centrifugal juciers do this. doesnt affect the juice and most people dont care. i know i dont!

Overall i think this is a great product! Highly recommend it to someone who likes to juice or who is interested in juicing but not able to spend a lot of money.
